Provo

 This was our first day in Salt lake so after all of the driving we decided not to go anywhere.  Above the boys are watching the music man.
In the afternoon we went for a walk I love the springs here. So beautiful!

  We all got the stomach bug at some point in the trip. Alden and I had it first Calvin got it once in Salt lake.

 Provo! A beautiful day. We went and visited Michael and my first home..it was in this old school turned into apts.

 And of course we had to visit the BYU creamery!

Beginning of Utah trip!

This trip was a last minute decision. A few weeks before the trip I had talked to my sister about finding a way to see her and meet her boyfriend. We decided we could meet up half way in Vegas.  After about a week I decided since I have no time restraints and they do I could leave earlier and meet them in St George. Everyone else decided they'd come to so I'd have help driving all the way to salt lake!

I met my brother in Phoenix ( he was there for work) He then drove us to his house in Vegas. Spent the night then his family and mine went to St George where we met up with the rest of the family! ( most everyone was there just not my parents and my brother in Texas)

 All of the cousins! So fun to be with them.

 We spent one night at my aunts home where she did an Easter egg hunt for the kids. ( we were here almost exactly a year ago and she had done a hunt then. The boys were so excited to do it again!)

Alden loves to take videos with my phone. He has taken some good ones but I think this is one of my favorites! He took one of Calvin running right before he took this one showing you how fast he runs.

End of March

 The pool opened up the last day of March... guess who was jumping up and down to finally go swimming? You probably guessed right because we all were!

 One little tooth popped up in this almost 6 month mouth... isn't it to early for that?

 The dessert is blummimg, fun to see how the dessert does spring. Those cacti can make some beautiful flowers!

 Alden snapped some photos of his brothers. He did a pretty good job too.

Pi day!!

 Did you know that the whole month of March was pi month? 3-14. So that made pi day extra special and I couldn't let it pass without having pie!
This year I've been eating basically no sugar... I am not being as strict as I have in the past...but sweet things are out. (reasoning behind this madness is that I did it once in highschool and my allergies disappear! Every year since then they have slowly returned, this last year they were just as bad as they once were...so time to say goodbye allergies and sugar!)
Anyways this pie had an almond crust filled with apples, blueberries and dates and tasted amazing... Well at least it did to me the no sugar eater. Everyone else liked it but were not nearly as in love with it as I was.

Kale popcorn night.  Kale popcorn is really yummy, my boys liked the kale in it just as much or more than the popcorn. Definitely a winner!

 Shooting rockets at the festival of books! We went to the festival for a couple of hours. I was amazed at all there was to do!

 After the festival we went to a friends birthday party at the bowling alley. The boys loved it!

 (Alden got his cape at the festival and wore it for the next couple of days.)

 Alden's last game was canceled which was a bit of a disappointment for him. He kept saying how we should go anyway because his team could play in the rain, maybe someone would show up, ext... The only thing that made it not so sad was that his coach had everyone meet up at Peter Piper Pizza for pizza and games. His coach talked to everyone individually to tell them their strengths.He told Alden how he sure is good at hitting the ball!
Something about Alden and baseball was he always wanted to be on time. ( I was usually running late) so to do so he would help me with things around the house then would get all his things together and go buckle himself in the car. Sometimes he would wait as much as 30 min in the car...he especially loved it if we got there early!

 Marana day parade! My boys love parades especially if there is a band and there usually is. We were glad we found out about this one. Lots of marching bands and lots of fun things for them to do. One of my Young Women performed at the end and had told me about it. We will definitely plan on going next year!
