Roslyn had made me this for Mother's Day but had forgotten about it and gave it to me when we cleaned out her and Maebryn's room. They both had made me soooo many cards and pictures. It was very sweet.
Picture of the yard just to remember what it was like at this time. Below is the Red Footed tortoise that Benson and Evan decided to sale.
It is starting to be swimming season. I have been enjoying in a little bit more. The kids will even get in sometimes after school. Below is us doing art with our favorite art teacher. I am so grateful to her for stepping up to teach all of us especially me. I have learned so much and have really enjoyed it.
Our Saturday project making walls under the slide and putting up windows...we still need to make the rock wall. Below Alden went to first Monday to sell his game Squeaky Kingdoms. While there we bought a toy for Evan to take to a birthday party later today.
Above, last day of school. It has been a great school year but we are also very excited for the summer! We are also looking forward to next year where I will be the math teacher instead of the Spanish teacher. Below is Maebryn's graduation. It was a cute little ceremony.
This was our last regular school day, I wore my favorite Spanish dress as my last day as the Spanish teacher. It was a nice day having chips and salsa in my classes and playing jeopardy. We went swimming when we got home.
Memorial Day- It was great going to the zoo with the littles and Michael. I know there won't be too many more of these trips so I am trying to enjoy each one as much as possible.
Roslyn lost her tooth on Memorial day. Such an exciting day to have her loose her first tooth.
On Memorial Day we went to the zoo. It was fun to be able to go to the zoo with Michael and the kids. One day the kids will be grown up and we won't have these outings. I just wanted to soak it in with these little ones that are growing up so quickly.
Above, we finished our paintings. It has been such a joy to do paintings and learn how to be a better artist. Below was at Michael's nephew's engagement party. It was a beautiful home with lots of amazing art.
Before the engagement party we went to the temple and the kids waited outside while Michael and I went in and did initatories. Earlier that day we went to art and this little lizard got inside the kids were so excited and were given a container to take it home.
Michael always makes either a yummy breakfast or dinner for us on Saturday.
Above at Friday school, all of the little girls dressed Maebryn all up during sewing class. They were having so much fun and really made it so I could help all of the others. It worked out well. Below we had some family friends over and I had them work together with Alden and Calvin to build our rocking chairs.
Another Saturday. I took Calvin to his track meet as Michael took Evan and Benson to their last basketball game. Once we got home while I was helping the ducks I saw a this snake but it went under the coop. Later on I saw the duck was out of the coop and thought "oh, I bet that snake is there" and sure enough he was. Calvin and I worked together to kill it as we had tried to get rid of it a couple of times but it just kept coming back.
Above the pots of flowers are some of my favorites. They make such a bright spot with the bright red and blue pots. Below are all of the kids playing together on the trampoline. I have been very grateful for the trampoline as all 6 kids often will play together on it.
Evan and Benson's zoo. I saw this one day when I went upstairs, they even have a little gift shop...I should probably buy something at some point.
Mother's Day was amazing! I don't think it could have been any better. The food was very very good. The kids all had sweet cards and gifts. I felt very loved.
Doing art at our art class with the most wonderful teacher.. We feel so blessed to be able to do these art classes.
Final orchestra concert went well. It feels so nice to be all done. It was great to have it on Monday when we normally have practice. Below is the first dresses I have made before. Matching dresses for my girls.
