Cousins. We love having cousins come to play. The upstairs was mostly done when they came so that was fun to be able to show them and to have another space to be in and to go to.

Upstairs bathroom. We decided to go with a bird theme. I was excited about the rack that I made. I got a piece of wood, cut out bird pictures from a book we have and modpoged them onto the board and put the hooks on.
We got the bunk beds up for guest to use.

Alden's first flight. This was his first flight with Civil Air Patrol. It sounded like it went really well.
Visiting our cousins to hear our cousins farwell talk before he left on his mission or this could have possibly been his homecoming talk...I can't remember, but I do remember it was a good talk. :)
First night sleeping upstairs in their new room. They had a very clean room for a bit until we got all of the stuff moved up. But they keep their room fairly clean just not like this free of everything.
We don't have beds for the younger two boys yet but they wanted to sleep upstairs as well.

Driving to the beach for our family vacation. We don't go on just our family vacations very often. Usually we are going to family reunions to visit family but this was one of the few where it was just us going together to spend a few days at the beach. This is us in the condo we got off of airbnb.
We took a ferry as part of the trip to get to our destination. We also drove on the longest bridge over water.
This is us in downtown New Orleans, trying out new foods and riding the trolly bus to hear about the town.
