Above is snack time during preschool and below is our Sunday breakfast. We always watch Music and the Spoken word as we eat cereal breakfast.

This was a bee presentation done by a friend. She taught us all about having bees and things that happen in a bee hive.

Above is when we learned about the letter t in preschool, we put up the tent, did music inside and pretended to be camping and sleep. Below is the kids putting on little shows/ stories for each other about different animals they would find.

Above was us enjoying the pool before it got too cold. Below was us doing art together.

Above is us learning about letter H and making our H houses. Below is up at recess.

Above are flowers the girls picked for me, below is a late night swim the girls took. It's starting to get a little cold but it doesn't stop these girls from swimming.

Our at home camp out. We didn't get a camp ground early enough in the season and we figured we could just do it at home. We cooked our tin foil dinners, read stories and the kids slept outside while I still got to sleep in my bed. It was a great camping trip.

Below was a nice bike ride we took together, above is us swimming in the pool and filling up the pond.

Saturday morning scones. Daddy makes the best scones- usually blueberry chocolate chip.

August (24)

 This is us as we were just finishing up the ponds we made in our backyard. We are excited to have it in, put in a little waterfall, and get some fish and then ducks to go into it as well.

Alden's birthday!

Preschool- my traditional preschool- learning about letter o. I have been doing the older grades for a couple of years but this year I decided to go back to my traditional preschool so that Maebryn could have preschool the way I have done it in the past.

Calvin's birthday!

Starting the school year! This will be an exciting and wonderful school year. Michael and I will be teaching seminary in the morning. I will be teaching preschool on Monday and Wednesdays and then have co-op on Thursday's. We will have orchestra on both Monday and Thursday, robotics on Tuesdays, activities Wednesdays, and Civil Air Patrol on Mondays. It will be full but a good year. Also I decided to teach ballet and tap on Monday and Wednesdays.

When the put in the upstairs, they put stairs next to this raised area. I had told them a couple of times that I didn't want them but when they put them in, I figured maybe it was important to have them or there was a reason for them I didn't understand, but no I actually didn't want them and after about a year I decided that it was time for them to go. We took them out and then got a couch where they were. We have all really enjoyed having a couch here instead.

We have been doing an herb class over the summer, this is a picture of one of the herbs we studied and the pictures we drew. Below is a picture of all of the kids playing in the pool together.

Zoo trip a little before school was going to start. 

I don't know that the kids had ever been to the Dallas Temple, it is a bit of a drive but since we went to the zoo, we weren't too far so I thought it would be neat for them to go and see the temple.
