This was a walk we took one day. It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy this beautiful weather even if it was just for a little while.
Evan and Roslyn have found the joys of rolling down hills! It's fun to see them do it over and over again.
This is a cow that roamed around our neighborhood for about a week before they could catch her. It was fun for all of us to see the cow out our window from time to time.
It's hard to see in this picture but I just finished making the decretive pillows on these bunk beds. This is Alden's soon to be room/ guest room for when family comes to visit.
This is a little house Evan made, he was pretty excited about it. Him and Roslyn went in to enjoy it!
Easter egg hunt the day before Easter. We were glad the weather was nice so we could do it outside.
Easter morning, finding their baskets.
Fairy Garden. For Easter everyone got something to help make a fairy garden. Later on in the week we went out to start it.
Our campout. We had planned to go camping at a state park but couldn't do to COVID-19. We decided that the boys could still camp out in the backyard. We made a fire and cooked stuffed apples and then the boys camped out. It was a success!
We helped with the fire and then girls went and slept inside.
This is a book Grandma/ Uncle Nathaniel sent. When we lived at my parents home I would read Bartholomew's 500 hats almost every night to Alden. When my mom was going through books I mentioned that'd be one we'd like. She couldn't find it but Nathaniel found it online. The kids enjoyed reading it together.
Boots! We found our first copperhead snake on our property the other day and decided boots would be good for our boys to wear if they're playing very far off from the house. They were excited about them. Hopefully that'll keep them safe.
One morning as I did my hair on Sunday for our home church. Roslyn sat and watched me, she then let me do her hair. It was fun to see little pigtails in her hair.
Last day of school! We had our preschool program/ graduation. Everyone did great saying their nursery rhymes, singing their songs, and doing their letters. When it's all done I just like to relax and call it a day so we did. The kids all got on their swimsuits on and played in the water.
Michael's parents wanted to get us something for our home and mentioned a grill. We found one that'll work great. This was our first cookout with it.
