Alden and Calvin are on a baseball team together.  Having them on the same team meant that Alden had to play t-ball.  (He prefers to have it pitched to him.)  I am glad that we did it.  It is fun having them out there together, and fun to see them get so excited each time they hit the ball and start running the bases!

Primary!

 Calvin is now a sunbeam. He is growing up quickly.  Calvin is becoming more independent each and every day. I've always rocked Calvin to go to sleep but now he just goes into his bed. He buckles his own seatbelt and often puts on his shoes by himself. It is fun to see him learn and grow.  He is learning more and more each day. He will often ask about words and what letter they start with.  He loves it when he can guess what they start with.

Christmas Day

Christmas was a nice relaxing day. The boys came down looked in their stockings, then wanted to take a break so they could eat some of the yummy things that they had.

We then went on opening presents stopping after each one because they wanted to play with what they got.

The big gift this year to everyone was this castle. Everyone had fun playing castle throughout the day!

On the 23rd we let the boys open their Christmas PJs from aunt Tara and then they got to sleep under the Christmas tree!

Calvin sayings

Lately with having our lemons we've had lemonade more often. Calvin will often ask for, "lemon egg". We've tried to correct him but he insists that it is " lemon egg"!

Also Calvin will often say random things that we wonder where they come from. For Halloween he kept saying that I was going to be a Strawberry. On Halloween I dressed up as a black cat, but when we asked him what I have was he said a strawberry!

On Christmas he was talking to his aunt. She asked, "what did you get for Christmas". Calvin quickly responded, " an astronaut ". I don't remember ever even learning what an astronaut is?

One last Calvin thing is, Calvin is very easy going and very truthful. If you ask him, Did you hit Alden?" He'll look you straight in the eye and say, "yes". Or if he's eating something he wasn't supposed to get into and you ask him what he's eating. He won't even pause but will tell you straight away exactly what he's eating that he shouldn't be.
Anyways the other day in the car Alden was trying to wink.  He finally got so he only had one eye open. He very excitedly turned to Calvin and said, " Calvin I have one eye!" Calvin giving him the craziest look turned to him and said,"I have two eyes ".

Last one and I can't even remember who said this one. But Alden or Calvin woke up with a headache and asked if I could. They came to me and said," something hurts up here can you take it out". It was as though it was a rock in their shoe and just wanted me to get it out.
