Calvin sayings

Lately with having our lemons we've had lemonade more often. Calvin will often ask for, "lemon egg". We've tried to correct him but he insists that it is " lemon egg"!

Also Calvin will often say random things that we wonder where they come from. For Halloween he kept saying that I was going to be a Strawberry. On Halloween I dressed up as a black cat, but when we asked him what I have was he said a strawberry!

On Christmas he was talking to his aunt. She asked, "what did you get for Christmas". Calvin quickly responded, " an astronaut ". I don't remember ever even learning what an astronaut is?

One last Calvin thing is, Calvin is very easy going and very truthful. If you ask him, Did you hit Alden?" He'll look you straight in the eye and say, "yes". Or if he's eating something he wasn't supposed to get into and you ask him what he's eating. He won't even pause but will tell you straight away exactly what he's eating that he shouldn't be.
Anyways the other day in the car Alden was trying to wink.  He finally got so he only had one eye open. He very excitedly turned to Calvin and said, " Calvin I have one eye!" Calvin giving him the craziest look turned to him and said,"I have two eyes ".

Last one and I can't even remember who said this one. But Alden or Calvin woke up with a headache and asked if I could. They came to me and said," something hurts up here can you take it out". It was as though it was a rock in their shoe and just wanted me to get it out.

The other day all 3 boys were in their room playing. It was fun to see them all together being so happy!

Lately Alden has been big into good guy bad guy stories games etc. I think in the picture at the top they were either building swords or towers.
The other night at dinner Alden explained how the broccoli was the good guys and the rice and chicken were the bad guys. ( at first I thought oh good he knows what is good for him) He then went on to explain how when he eats them it kills them. You wouldn't want to kill the good guys would you?
While I was sitting there talking to Alden I heard Calvin saying something I looked over and realized for the last several minutes he had been sitting there picking up a piece of rice throwing it and saying," it ran away, it ran away". Anyways it made me laugh.

 Over the summer we decided to take a break from team sports and we were going to do gymnastics. As you might have read we didn't do gymnastics based upon the fact that my boys are constantly doing gymnastics all day at home so we decided to just save the money and pay off more of our student loans.
Anyways Alden has missed the sports, today he tried to rally up soccer teams but was only able to get Hoppy to dress up for the occasion. (Hoppy is the rabbit playing goaly in the soccer jersey.)

 Calvin watched the game he played cars. Calvin loves any car and loves to play cars!

Benson is starting to be more interactive and move a little more. Alden took these pictures after Benson had rolled over...something he does every now and again. He is usually pretty content wherever he is and would rather make noise to get what he wants then to move. We think he will be crawling soon though with the few movements he does make! :)
We love his smiles and love the cute sounds he makes!!

Me,"no, its my phone"
Alden, "but you are going to share with everyone"

Alden, "Jesus says to share and likes it when we share"

 Becca was at the pageant on her birthday but the next day Sunday we sang to her!

  In the afternoon the boys got a hold of my phone and went around the house getting everyone to make silly faces. They were laughing and having a great time with that most the afternoon!

Calvin sayings

We pulled up at the Saguaro National park visitor center today and I told Calvin, "let's go inside and see what we find here"
Calvin responds with a clear confidant answer," tomatoes ".

Yesterday I moved our small table out of the kitchen while the boys were playing. Later Calvin came in and said," uh oh".
I run in and say in a frantic worried voice (usually when Calvin or anyone says uh oh it is not a good sign), say "what's uh oh Calvin"
He responds in his super cute little voice, " table ran away ".
the table was gone it must have ran away. :)

Alden loves to take videos with my phone. He has taken some good ones but I think this is one of my favorites! He took one of Calvin running right before he took this one showing you how fast he runs.
