Beautiful weather! We have been trying to go to the park more often. Every day has been beautiful and the best weather.

The other day I went into the school room where I found Alden reading stories to his animals.  It made me smile to see him reading and sharing that gift with his little buddies! :)

Benson is my little snuggle buddy.  I feel very blessed to get to snuggle with him so much.  Everyone at church is always amazed at what a good snuggler Benson is.  I don't remember if I posted this or not but Benson has severe eczema, and one of his ways of dealing with it is snuggling with Mom.  (I will admit that I am grateful that this is how he has found to find comfort.)  Anyways we had an allergy test done on him in the end of December to see if that what could be causing the eczema. The test came back positive for everything except pork, fish, and cow meat. 

Anyways starting on Christmas I went on a rice, banana, and meat diet. (rice and bananas were not tested...so maybe he is allergic to those as well but I figured that was a safe go.) Doing this has helped me see how easy it is to live a gluten free diet, we really are blessed to be able to eat so many different things to eat.  Anyways there was no improvement so Benson and I are back to eating normal again but I do not let him have gluten, I think we might be in this no gluten thing together.  For wheat the allergy test was way off the charts. I think my body having so many problems with my digestion and immune system, also caused problems for this little guy.  He has seemed to be getting better so that is exciting and we will be seeing an allergist in a few days so hopefully they will have some more answers.
