This is a picture of a few of the rocks we have moved while working on the retaining wall.
Alden's birthday he got a new piano book. It was fun to hear him play through the songs. He really has become quite good at the piano. (It made me so happy that he would ask for a piano book for his birthday and that he was excited about it.)
Alden had originally asked to have his birthday presents hidden and then have a code to solve to find where they were. It made for a more exciting birthday because he spent a good amount of the morning working on the code.
Roslyn got some princess stickers from grandma that she was excited about. Roslyn is a lot of fun in that she is often excited about so many different things, almost anything can bring a smile to this girls face.
Evan has a great primary teacher that has thought of some things that she can do even during quarantine. One thing she did recently was to make Captain Moroni flag for Evan. It was fun for him to get something special for him.
Roslyn got this fun dress and one other from Tara. She absolutely loves this dress and wears it often. It is her go to dress. Her and Evan have become best buds and often are found playing together.
Tara made this dress for Roslyn. It has her initials which she loves. She loves pointing to them and saying how it's hers because it has her name.
Roslyn and Evan have become best friends and are always playing together.
Roslyn doesn't nap much anymore but sometimes still needs one. I had run an errand and came home to find her like this. She must have gotten tired and find her own little place to lie down.
Every spare moment on Saturdays was spent out here working on our retaining wall. We were so glad when we finished it up!
School started up this month. We have a fairly good routine and the kids are all doing really well. I have been impressed that even Roslyn has really gotten into doing her little school work. I've been amazed at how well she traces, colors and writes.
Math lesson one day
Above, was one of our last trips to the pool. It sure was nice to be able to go swimming during the summer!
