November

For Thanksgiving we went to Houston to visit family.  It was different not being the family hosting Thanksgiving dinner.  We were glad that we could still be with family and have cousins for the kids to play with.  We had a great stay and really enjoyed visiting and having such beautiful weather. Where we are it has started getting cool but there it was perfect.

Tara shirts.  My kids love there Tara shirts and it is fun for me to have them all matching.  This year she sent us shirts for Thanksgiving, so we could have them all matching when we were with our cousins.

Benson trying quail eggs.  He seemed okay at first and I was super excited and took this picture but by the next bite he started having a reaction so I guess he's not ready for any egg quite yet.
You probably can't see it, but my kids are all up there playing in or around this oak tree that sits right out our back patio. We love this tree, it is a perfect already built in tree house.
Letter I craft- Igloos.
Getting our refrigerator. We did have one from our rental but we had been keeping it in the garage, it was nice to finally get one in the house. We love having a refrigerator inside again!

Getting used to the cold and learning how to bundle up.  Roslyn actually likes the gloves and hats so that has been nice.  One day going to the mail, a very large, but friendly dog saw her pom pom's on her head and tried to play with them and nocked her right over...since then she does wonder a little about wearing this hat, but still loves the gloves and jacket suit.

This was our big purchase this month.  We had been using our keyboard as our piano for lessons and playing on, but we had said that as soon as we moved into a home we would buy a nice piano. We love having a piano in our home and it has been fun to have the piano of my dreams.
I can't remember what Alden was doing at this moment, but I love how close these 5 are.  They will often all play together and just love being with each other.
