October

Playing at a nearby park.  While we were there we found the trees giving us shade were pecan trees.  It was fun cracking and eating pecans while we played.

Letter P craft- making a pumpkin out of paper.  We always love doing this craft and this year was no different.  Everyone wanted to make one (except Alden never asked to do one) Which made it so we had four pumpkins around the house. :)
Camping! There is a state park not far from here and we hadn't been camping yet this year so we decided to take a weekend and go camping.  It was nice being outside exploring together.

Benson's Birthday! This boy was super excited for this day.  He got a bike, which at first he was a little scared about it was a little big so we did take it and exchange it for a smaller bike.  He loves his bike and rides it all over.

Evan loves animals.  When we go to the library he spends a good amount of time searching for just the right animal book.  He loves fiction color books that contain multiple animals. The picture above was the week we learned letter a and learned a little about animals.
Roslyn is definitely my girly girl.  She loves pink and can even say it, and loves hair bows for a minute while she walks around, shows everyone in the house how cute she is and then promptly takes it out.

The biggest thing in the month of October was purchasing our home. It was a bit unexpected but has worked out well.  We had an offer on this home before we moved here but felt too stressed with the move, buying a practice and everything else and had just decided to rent.  We had looked a little into building a home for when our contract on our rental ran out but I never felt good about it.
One day randomly I told Michael that it was time to but the house we had put an offer on. Later I found out it had just dropped an additional $10,000 It had dropped $10,000 prior to that at some point.
Lots of little miracles happened to make it possible- we found out that self employed people are not allowed to get a mortgage unless they have had a tax return.  But it all worked out, I feel quite strongly God's hand was in it.  I am not sure exactly why we are to be here now but I know we are where we are suppose to be, I just hope and pray we can do what we are suppose to do while we are here.

Halloween, the last time out our rental home.  Which was a great home!

This was on a Sunday that we noticed we matched to some degree so someone took some pictures of us.

Roslyn has loved playing on the piano and will sit there for 30 plus minutes.  I hope she keeps it up so practicing will be a joy as she is older.

Letter M craft- Mouse and Letter N craft-- nest
When Roslyn was 18 months she started letting us know when she needed to go poo poo on the toilet. I have been amazed at how well and easy she has been to potty train. She was so tiny and we didn't have a little toilet out so originally I would hold her but not more than a couple of weeks and she insisted on keeping herself up and would balance herself on the toilet all by herself.
Monkey masks- Another letter M craft one of our last in our rental
In our new home for our Halloween preschool party.
On Halloween day we went to the Science museum in Fort Worth.  It was fun to go somewhere in our costumes and a great day to go to the museum.  No school groups were there and it was more or less empty.
