April

Waiting for the cousins to come.  In the beginning of April, Todd and Cath came to visit.  It was so much fun having them at our home!

The petting zoo! We'd heard of this little petting zoo but had never made it here until this day.  It was fun to finally go see it.

Catalina State Park.  We went here a number of times in just a couple of weeks. It was fun to see and play in all of the water and go for hikes among all of the flowers.  I think we found a flower or almost every color. So beautiful.
So fun to see these two cute boys walking holding hands.  They really are best buds.  Benson likes to watch out and help out his younger brother so I think that is what was actually happening here.

Our garden that we planted in January really did well this year! We had broccoli, some lettuce (we didn't plant this but it came up from last garden), lots and lots of peas, turnips, beats, and carrots. We finally got it going well and think we had it figured out to a certain degree when we found we would be moving...but I guess that is how most things are in this life.  Time for a new adventure!

Texas quick trip.  This trip felt like a dream. It was less than 24 hours but I felt like we were in a movie where they decide to take some crazy 24 hour trip for a date. We got into town in the later afternoon then drove into Weatherford TX first thing in the morning where we toured the practice.  Afterwards we drove around a little bit and went to Aldi's to buy some things for lunch.  We then went and ate lunch at Holland Park.  It was beautiful and the best weather anyone could ask for. Afterwards we drove to the airport and headed home. We got home just as everyone was sitting down for dinner.  Natalie and David did such a great job taking care of our kids, we feel so blessed to have them near by...it's hard to think of leaving them and everything we have grown to love so much.

Michael and I got back from our trip Saturday night before Easter.  Natalie and David came back over the next day to celebrate Easter with us.
