August

Calvin always loves holding Roslyn.  Roslyn doesn't always want to be held.  He was excited that she finally let him hold her and wanted a picture of it!

Exercise! I decided that I needed to do something fun and together to start school off.  We decided to have choir...sing a couple of songs and then we do exercises while we count.  It has been a lot of fun.

Evan is super excited to start preschool and really so is Benson.  These boys love playing games.

Putting on bows and bracelets.  It is so fun doing little girl things with my little girl.  She really is a girly girl.  She loves to pick out her bows and really loves to get her nails done. Our little cutie pie.

Our big 8 year old! He was so excited to turn 8 and had gotten his shirt ready to wear weeks in advance.  On the actually day he excitedly put it on first thing in the morning!

One happy boy! He decided to play games most of the day on his birthday. But he was sure a happy boy all day long.

Sunday afternoon working on family search, Alden made it all the way back to Adam and Eve.  It is pretty neat to think that one of my lines goes all the way back! :)

First day of preschool! And Alden's birthday the following day.

Alden wanted to have an ice cream cake, it was fun to have something different. We all had fun celebrating this special day with this boy.

Calvin's baptism! It was neat to see how excited Calvin was for his baptism.  We had talked to him about moving it back a week because Grandma would be in town, but he didn't want to wait! It worked out great to have it when we did.

It was so nice of his cousins (and their parents) to make the long drive to be here for Calvin's special day.

Ron and Tara also made a long drive to be with us.  It was so nice to have them with us and to show them where we live.

Aunt Janice and Uncle Erin also made the drive down and were really helpful in helping us out with the program.  Aunt Janice gave such a nice talk on baptism.
