March (23)

This beautiful girl just turned five. She is such a sweet girl. Always thinking of others, keeping her room cleaned and helping around the house. She loves learning and all good things. She loves her family, friends, nature, music, art, and being our good sweet little one.

They started work on our attic...our house will never be quite the same again. I was outside at recess when I saw a knife/ or saw go through the roof cutting a hole. We are grateful to have such a good team- two brothers working on this project. They are fun to be around and are doing a great job. They even ended up adding fun little things just because they knew we would like them...like these little closets in the kids rooms. It is fun to go up into the attic after each day and see how things look. They get a lot done each and every day!

I am actually writing this two years after the fact. This was Maebryn sleeping in the car...not sure if she is really sleeping or fake sleeping but now as I am writing this she is two years older. (She was two in this picture but now she is four and almost five years old.) She still "sleeps" in the car, she will actually fall asleep in the car if we are going a longer distance but even on short drives she almost always pretends to be asleep when we get to our destination so that she can be held getting out of the car.
My cute girls. I don't get around to doing their hair very often and they don't keep anything I put in their hair in for very long so when we do get their hair done it is always fun to get a picture.
Going for a walk to pick up trash around our neighborhood.

Working on my splits. I made a goal to try and get the splits and started a program. I did end up getting the splits like the ones in the top picture but writing this two years later I still can't fully do the splits of the second picture. I've gotten close but not yet...I'm about as close to get them as I am to get the other splits in this top picture. Maybe one day...but for now I honestly don't stretch as much as I used to and have decided it's okay if I can't do all of the splits.

I love that Alden will find time to sit down with his little sister and read to her from time to time.

I'm not exactly sure which craft in preschool this was but this is a typical day in preschool having my boys come in and help the kids with their work. I think it is good for both my children and for those in the class.
Daffodils. I love it when these come up i the spring. I also love how much Evan loves the flowers. He or Roslyn will often spot some flower and come and tell me about them. The first time we had an Iris bloom, Evan sat and looked at that Iris for the longest time. He sat there looking at all of the details inside and then came in saying how he really liked that flower. I love how they see the beauty in the simple things.

Painting in Preschool
Our cute little one.
Sitting up on the swings on a Sunday afternoon.

I honestly don't remember what we are doing here, but I am assuming we are having the hot coco bombs our neighbor gave us.
